Free Grotto
Children will be lining up around the block, clutching their wish lists ready to hand to the jolly bearded man himself. Not only will children have the chance to meet Santa, but will receive a sticker set, have the chance to meet his reindeer, enter a free competition to win a Lindt chocolate gift set and have their picture taken with Santa too! Photographs of the grotto experience will be available to purchase on the day, you can choose from a 9”x6” photo, snowglobe, keyring, magnet, snowblock or bauble – a great reminder of the grotto experience or a perfect gift for a loved one. Entry to the Grotto is free, but Studley Green Garden Store welcomes donations to their chosen charities, Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and Greenfingers.

Santa's grotto at Eden Shopping Centre
As Christmas draws ever nearer, Santa Clause has packed his sleigh and is making his way to Eden Shopping Centre to meet the little ones of Buckinghamshire! This year’s grotto is absolutely free - children will receive a free tasty treat and there is also the chance to purchase photographs with the twinkly-eyed gent himself, for your family to treasure forever.The grotto (located opposite Mothercare) is open daily from 12th December through to Christmas Eve; customers can check Eden’s website for full opening times and details. Santa’s Magical Adventure at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
The fun starts the moment you arrive! You will be shown to your reserved seats on the steam train where you will be joined by Santa himself. One of Santa's pixie helpers will pull your gifts from the huge toy sack and the magic begins! Please arrive 20 minutes before the advertised departure time and you should allow about 2 hours for your visit to include the train ride and live children's entertainment. Christmas day morning swim
Take a Christmas morning swim in the heated outdoor pool at Chesham Moor Gym and Swim. A great way to start the festivities on Christmas Day, an outdoor dip has become a Christmas tradition in itself. Head to the pool for one of the two timed swimming sessions: 7am to 9am or 9am to 11am. Bacon buttie and a hot cup of tea or coffee, all included with your ticket and served by the Santa hat wearing staff! And the pool will be heated to a toasty 82/83ºF. This unusual, upbeat event is a truly unique way to spend Christmas morning and would be a perfect way to meet up with friends and family on the day. Santa's Special Steam Trains
Santa and Mrs. Claus made a brief visit to the Steam Railway recently to make sure all was ready for the busy December season - Santa noted that some trains are likely to be booked out already, however tickets are still available on many dates. Santa promised to be onboard and to provide presents for each child 1-15yrs (retail value of present about £5) and all can enjoy a complimentary spiced hot berry or cordial drink and biscuits or excellent mince pies. Mrs Claus reckons that the quality of the presents and the relaxed atmosphere will make it a very magical experience for everyone. Cinderella
First Family Entertainment brings you the magical pantomime Cinderella! The Young Theatre's Aladdin
Join Aladdin and his brother Wishee-Washee (not forgetting their mum, Widow Twankee) as they battle the evil Abanazar to save Princess Jasmine from a fate worse than death. A Laugh a Minute – Nicholas Parsons
The host of BBC Radio 4’s Just a Minute, demonstrates his unique skills as a solo performer and raconteur. His anecdotes are based on his experience of working in an unpredictable and always fascinating profession. He has an ability to laugh at himself and see the humour in his early life and struggles to be an actor, building to anecdotes based on his varied work in so many branches of show business. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Join Chesham Bois Catholic Players as they enter the magical world of Narnia. When four young evacuees leave London, they arrive at the mysterious house of Professor Kirk, where a wardrobe in a spare room starts them on an adventure to the winter wonderland that is Narnia. Come battle the White Witch with Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they join forces with the great lion Aslan and a host of mythical creatures. CBCP were first formed over 60 years ago and now have about 100 members of all ages, both catholic and non-catholic, from the local area. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The Henley Children’s Theatre perform in their annual traditional pantomime. Written by Mike Hurst for children (both cast and audience) it is a treat for adults too, as HCT always inject a good dose of upbeat, not corny, humour. And it’s all rather clever – you might need to watch it more than once to “get” everything! Children aged 4 to 16 appear in the cast, with some great music and laughter. The youngest appear as the National Elf Service, aiding the Well Fairy in her endeavours to protect Snow White against the evil Queen and her villainous, but soft-centred, henchman Black Bert. The whole cast of energetic, enthusiastic children make for a very happy Christmas outing.
