Organisers of a fundraising event for a new mum battling cancer say they are expecting a packed house this evening, with only a limited number of tickets available.

Friends of Nina Langley, from Marlow Bottom, have rallied round after the 32-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in her bowel and secondary liver cancer while pregnant.

Nina’s fiancé Ed Cusick has vowed to do all he can to help Nina, who was rushed for a caesarean to deliver their son Teddy prematurely after the diagnosis was made.

And ‘Nina’s Fight Night’ at Court Garden in Marlow from 7pm looks set to build on the astonishing £30,000 raised so far to help in her battle against the disease.

The event features live bands and musicians, as well as a raffle and signed auction, with prizes donated including a signed Chelsea FC strip and a weekend break to Devon.

Organisers are expecting a big turnout, with entry only available on the door and limited to 170 people.

Tickets cost £10 each, with proceeds going to Nina’s fund, which will help pay for specialist treatment not available on the NHS, which may be open to them.
