Brave fundraisers reached for the sky last month and took part in a sponsored skydive to raise money for a Bucks hospice.
Daredevils from High Wycombe, Great Missenden, Prestwood and Widmer End were among the 14 people who took part in the skydive on Sunday, June 21, and Saturday, June 27, to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
Each person performed a ‘tandem’ skydive in which they jumped from 14,000 feet strapped to an instructor over an airfield in Brackley.
This year the team look set to raise £5,000, enough to raise 250 hours of specialist nursing care in a patient’s home.
