A cyclist who was injured in a collision with a lorry on the M40 has died in hospital.
The 23-year-old man, from Egham in Surrey, suffered serious head injuries when his pedal cycle was involved in a crash with a white Mercedes HGV on the southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 7.
The cyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after the crash, which happened on Monday, July 13 at around 3.50am.
He died in the hospital on July 22.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information about the crash.
Investigating officer PC Kelly Hobson, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the cyclist and lorry before the collision.”
