Firefighters called after smoke seen billowing across motorway in possible field fire
Firefighters were called out to the M40 this morning after worried motorists saw smoke billowing across the motorway.
There was thought to have been a field fire next to the M40 southbound between J5 (Stokenchurch) and J4 (Handy Cross), which turned out to be crop dusting.
Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed crews from High Wycombe and Beaconsfield attended at 11.41am.
