A man from High Wycombe has been jailed for four years for drugs offences.

Shane Lovett, 29, of Abercromby Avenue, was found guilty by an unanimous jury at Amersham Crown Court after officers raided a property in Hillview Road, seizing cocaine, cannabis and drugs paraphernalia, which were destroyed.

Lovett was arrested on September 30 2015 after the raid, and charged on April 13 2016, police confirmed today.

He was sentenced on two counts of possession with intent to supply cannabis and one count of possession with intent to supply cocaine, and ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge.

Investigating officer, Det Con Alex Kratky, said: "I am pleased that Lovett will now no longer be able to supply drugs on the streets of High Wycombe.

"Drug dealing will not be tolerated, it impacts on the wider community and we are doing everything we can to reduce it on our streets.

"If drug dealing is a problem where you live we would ask to contact your neighbourhood policing team or 101."
