A new dog-friendly restaurant has officially launched in Bucks high street after a revamp.

Amersham House announced it’s opening ahead of the summer season in the heart of Old Amersham.

Before a refurbishment, the site at 27 Broadway was occupied by Côte.

But now the restaurant boasts a fresh new look and a menu designed by Gordon Ramsay’s former executive chef Steve Allen, who has previously worked at Ramsay’s Michelin-starred restaurants and on all his books, including Secrets and World Kitchen.

General manager Lina Dimino said: “We want to become a real hub for locals of all ages to come together and socialise in a comfortable and lively space. We have a dog friendly terrace for when the weather is good and they are welcome in the bar area all year round.

“We also have an extensive gluten free menu selection, a good range of vegetarian and vegan dishes and we try to cater for all dietary requirements through our knowledgeable and friendly teams both in the restaurant and in the kitchen.”

The restaurant team was eager to welcome families for the half term break with a “great kid’s menu and plenty of ice cream,” she added.

Diners can find lunch classics like chicken pesto, linguine, club sandwich or fish and chips and treats from local businesses, including pastries and cakes from Nena’s Craft Bakery and Old Amersham Gin.
