TWO offenders using a toy-like weapon shot pellets at passersby in Great Missenden.

The incident happened on June 4 in High Street at about 8.40pm when the pair used a handheld toy-like weapon, appearing to resemble a ball bearing or gel blaster, weapon to shoot at passers-by.

One of the offenders was driving, while the other was leaning out of the window firing pellets at members of the public.

Some of these pellets hit a female victim, and although uninjured, she found blue pellets in her clothing.

Police state that the offenders are both described as ‘Asian, possibly Indian or Middle Eastern’ and aged around 18 to 21-years-old with black hair.

The passenger in the vehicle, a silver Volkswagen or Golf, with a loud exhaust was the one holding the weapon.

Case investigator Mirothiha Sivabalan, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “On speaking to the female victim who reported this incident, I believe that at least three other people were hit by these pellets.

“Two of these were outside Fan Fan Pizza and another was a man on his phone who was outside St Andrews Book Shop.”
