A manhunt for a 'hooded attacker' continues two months after the ‘terrifying’ incident.

Residents in Great Missenden were left concerned for their safety after a hooded man grabbed a woman in her 30s and put his hand over her mouth during an attack on August 24 between 6.10pm and 6.15pm.

The victim managed to free herself and the man ran to the direction of the A4128.

The incident, which happened on a footpath off Trafford Lane leading to Green Lane in Prestwood, sparked a manhunt.

A mum who lives in Great Missenden said in September she avoids the woods on her regular dog walks over fear of another attack. She claimed some men had stopped walking in the woods "to not frighten women” in case they were mistaken for the attacker.
