Police officers are at the scene of a suspected murder that took place in Beaconsfield yesterday.
A murder investigation has been launched by Thames Valley Police after the death of a woman in her forties at a home on Seeleys Road.
Police were called to the scene at around 6:20am on Friday, February 23, where the woman, who was found to have suffered "serious injuries", was sadly pronounced dead.
A 38-year-old man from Beaconsfield was arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
Thames Valley Police has put a cordon around the property on Seeleys Road and is maintaining an officer presence at the scene.
The road has not been closed to motorists or pedestrians.
