The Wycombe Wanderers hierarchy have praised a fan after he voluntarily cleared up banners, signs and stickers left outside Adams Park by several disgruntled Reading supporters.

Fans of the Royals descended to the Hillbottom Road venue on March 15 after it was revealed that the Chairboys had agreed to purchase the club’s state-of-the-art Bearwood Park training ground earlier this week.

The news came just days after Reading, who have been struggling financially since Chinese billionaire Dai Yongge took over the club in 2017, announced they had agreed to sell their complex to raise much-needed funds.

Many have accused Yongge of stripping the former Premier League side of their last asset for a quick sale.

Following the revelation, hundreds of Reading fans stood outside Adams Park to protest against Yongge, the EFL and Wanderers.

A handful of Wycombe supporters also attended which led to positive and amicable discussions.

However, as everyone departed the vicinity on Friday evening, banners, signs and stickers were left behind.

Thankfully, Wanderers supporter and peaceful protester, Arran White, along with three others, stepped in and voluntarily removed all the items.

They were praised on social media for their actions and were given a free beer when they attended the club’s home fixture against Northampton Town on March 16.
