A man has been handed a suspended jail sentence after stealing over £150 from a chemist and charity shop in High Wycombe.
Jordan Morris, 30, of Amersham Hill, High Wycombe, appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on February 9.
This was in connection with two thefts which occurred months apart last year.
On April 12, Morris made off with cash from the Great Ormond Street Hospice Care shop in High Wycombe.
It is unknown exactly how much was stolen on this occasion.
The second incident occurred on August 26.
The defendant attended the Centra Pharmacy in Queens Square and took cash to the value of £150.
He pleaded guilty on both counts against him.
Magistrates handed him a two-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.
He has been made subject to a drug rehabilitation order for 12 months, and a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 10 days.
Justifying their decision, magistrates highlighted the severity of Morris' offending, and his previous record of criminal behaviour.
