A 24-year-old man in Milton Keynes has been jailed this week for possession of cocaine valued at £131,000.

Alfie Levy of Langland Road faced Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday, April 3 and received a sentence of four years and eight months for his crimes.

Levy was prosecuted following diligent investigation by Thames Valley Police.

On January 12 officers intercepted Levy travelling in a taxi in Kents Hill, based on information suggesting he was holding drugs.

Upon search, they discovered cocaine, cash, and a mobile phone used for drug dealing. He was promptly arrested at the scene.

Further examination of an associated property revealed an additional stash of cocaine, cash, and a drug preparation kit.

The combined street value of the uncovered cocaine amounted to an alarming £131,000.

Levy pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug – cocaine - and one count of possession of criminal property.

As such, a forfeiture and destruction order was sanctioned for the drugs and mobile phones involved in the case.

Investigating officer, PC Lewis Jones of the Stronghold team in Milton Keynes, said: “Drug supply in Milton Keynes is taken seriously by Thames Valley Police.

"We will do all that we can to pursue, arrest and convict drug dealers, who target vulnerable members of our community.

"Drug dealers should be under no doubt, we know who you are and we will arrest you.”
