CCTV images have been released following a robbery outside Burger King in Eden Centre.

Police said the robbery took place at around 5.55pm on Good Friday, where a group of men approached two boys and started shouting at them.

One of the youths then grabbed hold of one of the boys and took his bank card.

As the boy tried to get free from the offender, he fell to the floor and his mobile phone fell on to the floor.

Police said one of the males then took the mobile phone from him. 

The two boys then managed to run away and did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ryan Hook, said: “We are releasing CCTV images of two individuals we believe may have vital information in connection with this incident.

“We would ask anyone who recognises these individuals to please get in touch through our online form or by contacting 101 quoting reference 43240145426.
