Three areas of Buckinghamshire have been labelled as some of the best commuter towns to visit in the south of England
A survey conducted by the Telegraph, with the help of Savills Estates, gathered data on the 100 most popular stations (by passenger footfall) within 90 minutes of London, which require no change of trains to reach the capital.
Affordable housing, school Ofsted ratings, green space, the reputation of pubs and restaurants, along with ticket and travel time based on information from National Rail suggested that High Wycombe, Milton Keynes* and Amersham are some of the places to visit.
Out of the 100 places, Amersham was ranked 59th, Milton Keynes was 31st and High Wycombe was 20th.
Other places that made their way onto the list which are from the Thames Valley include *Oxford, Banbury and Didcot in Oxfordshire, whilst Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, Burnham, Newbury, Bracknell and Twyford in Berkshire also made the cut.
