Residents in Marlow will head to the polls this afternoon to have their say on a multi-million-pound film studio proposed for development on their doorstep.

During a meeting held on April 8, members of the Marlow Town parish called for a poll on the following questions to go out to the electorate:

1. Do you wish Marlow Film Studios to be built?

2. Do you want development in the greenbelt on the scale proposed by the Marlow Film Studio?

Residents who were listed on Marlow Town Council’s electoral register by April 8 will be able to answer the above questions by heading to one of their nearest polling stations between 4pm and 9pm today, Thursday, May 9.

Parish members don’t need photo identification to vote, but they are only eligible to go to a specific polling station depending on their electoral number.
