VOTERS go to the polls tomorrow for council and European elections.

Polling stations open from 7am to 10pm.

All 57 seats at Buckinghamshire County Council are up for election along with all 10 South East seats of the European Parliament.

Council election results will be announced between 10am and 3pm on Friday while the European results will be announced on Sunday.

The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are hoping to improve their respective council seats of 44 and 13.

The UK Independence Party has also boosted the number of candidates while the British National Party is standing for the first time.

Labour is hoping to regain a footing on the council after its last two members defected to the Lib Dems last year.

There are four Conservatives, one Labour, one UKIP, one independent and two Lib Dems in the European Parliament.

A total of 17 parties are standing in the poll.
