HIGH Wycombe CC's title hopes are over after they were beaten at Tring Park while leaders Henley emphasised their lead with a win over second-placed Slough.
Chasing 168, High Wycombe were all out for 154 after collapsing to 70-7, and they needed Robbie Jones' 35 and Cameron Parsons' 29 just to make it close.
They are now 34 points adrift of Henley with just two games left.
However, it was a fine weekend for Gerrards Cross as they beat Aston Rowant to give their fight against relegation a shot in the arm.
They are still bottom after Harefield's shock win at Oxford, but there is just five points between them with Rowant just eight points ahead of Cross.
