A WANDERERS team were beaten 6-1 in a friendly against Luton Town on Tuesday.
Former Maidenhead striker Alex Wall netted a hat trick for the Hatters' development side in the behind closed doors game.
The match was arranged with a view to giving Wanderers players returning from injury the chance to improve their match fitness.
Josh Scowen, who warmed up with the rest of the first team squad at Stevenage despite not being named in the side, was one of the players manager Gareth Ainsworth wanted to give match time to.
Luton's development team are coached by former Wanderers favourite Hakan Hayrettin.
