Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth has signed a new contract to remain in charge at Adams Park.
Club chairman Andrew Howard told fans in the Vere Suite ahead of kick off for this afternoon’s home game against Luton Town that Ainsworth, whose deal was due to expire at the end of the current season, has agreed a new contract.
The length of the deal has yet to be confirmed, with the club simply saying it is a ‘long term’ contract.
Ainsworth has led Wanderers to the top of the League Two table, having avoided relegation into non-league football on the last day of last season.
