There was plenty for fans and players alike to turn to social media for on the past weekend as Wanderers missed out on automatic promotion by just a single point.
At one stage during the second half at Sixfields, Wanderers were going up as they were beating Northampton and results elsewhere were going their way.
But hopes of snatching third place were ended when Bury scored against Tranmere, leaving Blues fans to come to terms with a play-off semi-final against Plymouth.
Wanderers arrived in Northampton in confident mood.
