MORECAMBE duo Kevin Ellison and Ryan Edwards have both been banned for three games following the ugly scenes which marred Wanderers’ midweek win on the Lancashire coast.
They were slapped with the bans by the FA today. No punishment has come Wanderers' way
A mass brawl broke out at the final whistle after Wanderers midfielder Marcus Bean reacted angrily to twice having his hair pulled.
His teammates leapt to his defence and players from both sides had to be pulled apart.
Wanderers were shepherded into the corner to celebrate their win with their supporters while Morecambe were led down the tunnel to keep the feuding teams apart.
After the 1-0 win Blues goalscorer Aaron Pierre said it was doubly sweet to get the winner to silence the Morecambe players who had been goading.
